Inclusive recruitment podcast episode two published

NHS Employers has published the second part of a two-part podcast series on inclusive recruitment.

In episode two hear Raffaela Goodby, director of people and organisation development, and Lawrence Kelly, learning works coordinator at Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust discuss how and why apprenticeships form a key part of the trust's approach to inclusive recruitment.

Lawrence and Raffaela discuss the benefits their approach has brought to people completing the apprenticeships and to service users, the scale of the trust's apprenticeship programme, what support is needed to make the work a success and advice for other trusts who may wish to embark upon a similar approach.

The podcast also features a conversation with Paulina Lapinski, now employed by the trust on a full time basis, Paulina started her career at Sandwell as a business administration apprentice on the Live and Work programme.
