The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) is seeking views about whether a change in regulation is needed in advanced level practice.
With an expected significant growth in the number of advanced practitioners in the next few years, the HCPC is conducting a survey to find out whether regulatory changes are necessary.
While advanced practice is well established in a number of regulated professions, for some roles it is still relatively new and the terminology used varies. Despite work been carried out to establish consistent education and training standards, there is little information that maps across all the regulated professions.
The short survey is aimed at HCPC registered professionals undertaking, or aspiring to undertake advanced practice, and registrants who manage services which involve advanced practitioners.
Submit your views and complete the survey online. The survey will close at 12pm on 25 September.
