In an announcement yesterday, (11 January) the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was removed from the UK’ s
travel corridor list. This is due to an increase in both the level and pace of COVID-19 cases in the country.
From today (12 January), people returning to the UK from the UAE (Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ajman, Fujairah, Umm Al-Quwain, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah) will need to self-isolate for 10 days.
National lockdown rules in England still apply and all incoming international travelers to England or Scotland are still required to
provide a negative COVID-19 test three days prior to travel and complete a
passenger locator form.
