New quarantine rules for travelers from UAE with removal from the travel corridor list

Supporting your existing overseas staff

In an announcement yesterday, (11 January) the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was removed from the UK’ s travel corridor list. This is due to an increase in both the level and pace of COVID-19 cases in the country.

From today (12 January), people returning to the UK from the UAE (Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ajman, Fujairah, Umm Al-Quwain, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah) will need to self-isolate for 10 days.

National lockdown rules in England still apply and all incoming international travelers to England or Scotland are still required to provide a negative COVID-19 test three days prior to travel and complete a passenger locator form.
