Delivered in partnership with NHS England and NHS Improvement, the programme is centred around four key themes and will shine a light on good practice from a variety of organisations that have successfully supported disability in the workplace.
Join us, and be inspired by top speakers from both within and outside of health and care:
- Voice - the voices of disabled staff. Featuring Dr Hannah Barham-Brown trainee GP and disability rights campaigner, and British Sign Language education specialist and performer Fletch@BSL.
- Power - how to give disabled staff more control and influence in the workplace. With contributions from the Equality and Human Rights Commission, and mental health advocate and performer Lady MJ Warrior.
- Advocacy - ways to support disabled people into and during employment. Showcasing the work of the most inclusive employers.
- Change - how to change workplaces to better meet the needs of disabled staff. Supported by our special guest Amar Latif, TV presenter and blind explorer.
