#EQW2023 Tweet chat on pay gaps

As part of Equality, Diversity and Human Rights Week #EQW2023, we held a Tweet chat on Thursday 11 May from 1-2pm. The theme of the conversation was equal pay using the hashtag #EndTheGap, and focused on reducing disability, ethnicity and gender pay gaps and disparities across the NHS, to create a fairer reward and recognition system.
We had a number of panellists who joined us, including:
- Paul Deemer - Head of Diversity and Inclusion, NHS Employers
- Carol Woodhams - Professor in Human Resource Management, University of Surrey and lead on the Gender Pay Gaps in Medicine Review.
- Simonetta Longhi - Professor of Economics, University of Reading
- John Palmer - Senior Advisor, ACAS.
Search the hashtag #EndTheGap on Twitter for useful thoughts and insights.
Our theme for day 1 of #EQW2023 is recruitment.
