Ethical Recruiters List updated – May 2023
We have updated the Ethical Recruiters List, following revisions to the Code of Practice for overseas recruitment earlier this year, removing organisations that did not reaffirm to the revised Code and any that no longer recruit internationally.
On 23 March 2023, the Department of Health and Social Care published a revised Code of Practice for the ethical international recruitment of health and social care staff in England. In line with the update to the Code of Practice, NHS Employers asked organisations already on the Ethical Recruiters List to reaffirm their commitment to the updated version of the Code of Practice.
Following the reaffirmation process, NHS Employers has updated the Ethical Recruiters List. This has included removing organisations that did not reaffirm to the revised Code and those that no longer recruit internationally. We have also updated the ethical recruiters list with organisations that have recently applied to join.
NHS Employers updates the Ethical Recruiters List on a monthly basis, and we encourage all employers to check the list every time they undertake international recruitment, even if they plan to use a recruiter they have worked with before.
