We are excited to announce the return of Military March this March 2022. Our annual social media campaign offers you an opportunity to celebrate your reservist and wider Armed Forces community colleagues, share your successes and highlight steps you have taken to become a more forces-friendly employer.
We understand that capacity is currently limited. As such, here are some simple suggestions on how you can engage with our campaign:
Follow @NHSEArmedForces on Twitter and retweet our content.
Share existing resources, blogs/vlogs/podcasts and case studies using #MilitaryMarch on Twitter.
Look back on successful Armed Forces recruitment/networking events that you have organised and celebrate their success on Twitter.
Promote Military March and share contact details for your Armed Forces/reservist champions in internal newsletters/comms.
Publish an article on your intranet signposting colleagues to relevant resources, such as the sign-up page for your armed forces network, your organisation’s reserves policy (if you have one) or our information pages on the NHS Employers website.
The focal point of this year’s campaign will be our annual NHS and the Armed Forces conference on the 15 March 2022, which will explore the future of the close working relationship between the two services. Book your free place on our events page.
Remember to follow @NHSEArmedForces and use #MilitaryMarch to join this year’s celebrations, and visit our supporting the Armed Forces community webpage for more ideas on how you can become a more inclusive employer.
