New Turing Scheme open for applications

Today (12 March) the government has announced the opening of its new Turing scheme, where schools, colleges and universities can apply for student funding for two-week to 12-month study and industry work placements across the globe.
The programme replaces the EU's Erasmus+ scheme and for a year is designed to fund 35,000 exchanges from September 2021.
With an aim to improve social mobility and boost employability, the scheme will target students from disadvantaged backgrounds and areas which did not previously benefit from Erasmus+, offering accessible opportunities across the country.
