Nominations open for the Defence Employer Recognition awards 2023

Express an interest to nominate your organisation for this year’s ERS Silver and Gold Awards.

12 January 2023

The Ministry of Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) encourages employers across the UK to publicly demonstrate their support of the Armed Forces community, including reservists, veterans, wounded, injured and sick, cadet instructors and military spouses/partners.

The awards recognise positive actions taken by organisations that ensure members of the Armed Forces community are not unfairly disadvantaged during recruitment and are supported in the workplace. Each award level demonstrates a different level of support, with the ERS Gold award being the highest level of recognition an organisation can receive, and in alignment with the Armed Forces Covenant.

Further information on the three levels of commitment for organisations wishing to pledge, demonstrate or advocate support to the Armed Forces community, are available on our website.
