Access free support from The Prince's Trust to help you deliver the Kickstart scheme and recruit young people.

The Prince’s Trust is supporting the government's Kickstart scheme by offering NHS organisations a fully-funded package of pre and post support that will ensure young people have the best possible chance to succeed in these roles.

Pre-Kickstart support will help young people to complete their Kickstart applications and shortlisted young people will receive help to prepare for interviews. Unsuccessful young people can continue to be supported by The Prince’s Trust to apply for other opportunities.

A pre-Kickstart programme can be delivered online or face-to-face and will cover a range of topics to enable young people to get the most out of their placement. In addition, every young person is matched to a mentor who can provide pastoral support to navigate any challenges they may be facing.

The Kickstart Scheme provides funding to create new jobs for 16 to 24 year olds on Universal Credit who are at risk of long term unemployment. Employers can apply for Kickstart until 31 December 2021 and will receive funding for placements until 30 June 2022.
