PSA publishes strategic plan
The new plan outlines the Professional Standards Authority’s objectives for the next three years.
The Professional Standards Authority (PSA) has developed the plan based on responses to the proposals made following a consultation which ran from December 2022 to February 2023.
Recurring themes identified in the consultation feedback were to continue to share good practice across regulators and the accredited registers, focus on equality, diversity and inclusion, and the need to support positive workforce cultures.
The PSA has set out three key aims as part of its strategy:
- to protect the public by delivering highly effective oversight of regulation and registration
- to make regulation fairer and better
- to promote and support safer care for all.
