Liz Gambrell

Liz joined the National Engagement Service at NHS Employers in 2012 and is working part-time on a range of projects to support colleagues. Since 2012 Liz was the deputy director working with workforce leaders and trade union colleagues in the South of England.

She started her career in the NHS working in HR teams in trusts in London before working in the South East of England at regional level. In her regional role, she gained extensive experience of large-scale change management programmes. She has a Masters’ Degree in Strategic Human Resource Management and is an accredited workplace mediator.

Liz works closely with workforce leaders across the South of England running peer networks to share good practice and gather their views and insight to enable them to influence workforce policy. She also supports regional social partnership forums to promote partnership working with trade union colleagues.
