Our annual Equality Diversity and Human Rights Week ran from 13-17 May 2019.
#EQW2019 was a national platform for organisations to highlight their work to create a fairer and more inclusive NHS for patients and staff.
Diverse, inclusive, together
The week's theme, 'diverse, inclusive, together', was reflected in the need for greater collaboration and integration across health and care.
By working together and celebrating diversity, we collectively enable change and invest in a diverse NHS workforce that delivers an inclusive service and improved patient care.
Timetable of activities
There was a lot going on during #EQW2019, including a WDES webinar and the publication of a number of blogs, infographics, case studies and podcasts. Find out more about what happened.
Tools and resources
Organisations could access our communications toolkit to help deliver their own local campaign. It contained key facts and statistics, top tips, templates and resources to help them get their message out through their own communications channels and local media. These images can be used throughout the year as not all of them have dates embeded.
