Age Action Alliance
The vision of the Age Action Alliance is to improve the quality of life through partnership working between member organisations and older people, creating communities where older people feel secure, valued and able to contribute.
The Age and Employment Network (TAEN)
TAEN works to promote an effective labour market that serves the needs of people in mid and later life, employers and the economy.
The Centre for Research into the Older Workforce (CROW)

CROW was created to study the ageing workforce in the UK and beyond and are particularly interested in understanding:

  • the attitudes to retirement and work after 50 of older people and employers
  • in how the skills of people over 50 can help overcome skills gaps and shortages
  • in the kinds of education and training which might help in this.
The Department for Work and Pensions
The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is responsible for welfare, pensions and child maintenance policy.
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE)
The Health at Work Policy Unit provides evidence-based policy recommendations and commentary on contemporary issues around health, wellbeing and work.
Health at Work Policy Unit (HWPU) at The Work Foundation
HWPU provides evidence-based policy recommendations and commentary on contemporary issues around health, wellbeing and work.
Health, safety and wellbeing partnership group (HSWPG)
The overall purpose of the group is to:
  • raise standards of workplace health, safety and wellbeing in healthcare organisations
  • promote a safer working environment for all healthcare staff
  • promote best practice across both the NHS and the Independent sector.
The group make formal reports on its work and recommendations for action to the NHS Staff Council.
Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH)
IOSH are committed to creating a world of work which is safe, healthy and sustainable.
NHS Business Services Authority (NHS BSA)
NHS BSA administer the NHS Pension Scheme. Their website includes information and guides for employers and members of the scheme. 
NHS Employers
The NHS Employers flexible retirement hub gathers tools, resources and shared learning in one place to provide practical guidance on how employers can make the most of flexible retirement options to benefit their organisation and their staff.
