Assess your organisational readiness


The organisational readiness checklist is designed to help you assess how age aware your organisation currently is, and to help you action plan for the future. The checklist will help you to see how prepared you are for the opportunities and challenges an ageing workforce might bring. You should use the indicators of good practice on the checklist to assess your current performance and undertake some action planning.

This stage in the continuous improvement cycle should be repeated regularly to track improvements and continue action planning for success.  You can save and update the checklist following regular review.

The NHS Staff Council's Health, Safety and Wellbeing Partnership Group (HSWPG) have produced further resources to support employers to implement the health and safety recommendations made by the NHS Working Longer Group's preliminary findings and recommendations report
