Streamlining Resource Hub

Streamlining Programme logo
The national NHS Streamlining programme was formed in 2017. Led by NHS Employers the initiative was a collaboration of regional streamlining programmes and key national stakeholders that came together to share and influence. At a national and regional level, streamlining aimed to reduce duplication and improve recruitment processes for NHS to NHS staff transfers, including doctors in training on rotation.

A steering group of regional executive sponsors acted as a strategic vehicle to influence national bodies and ensure local progress. Alongside this, a national share and learn group brought together streamlining programme managers with deputy directors of workforce and other subject matter experts to share good practice, learning and resources.

As a result of these collaborations we published a streamlining resource hub, designed to support the implementation of streamlining and share learning, with the aim of enabling staff movements and the future passporting of skills.

On these pages you will find case studies, resources and links to useful sources of information including GDPR. All of which have been tried and tested and incorporate learning from previous streamlining implementations.
