Our Health Heroes 2026: nominations open
Nominations are now open to the public for the 2026 Our Health Heroes Awards.
Now in its 10th year, Our Health Heroes shines a spotlight on the diverse healthcare workforce that stands beside NHS doctors and nurses at the forefront of care. From porters and cleaners to receptionists, gardeners, and security guards, these often overlooked roles represent around 40 per cent of the NHS's one million-strong workforce.

NHS Employers is continuing its support for the awards this year and is proud to sponsor the Outstanding Lifetime Contribution to Healthcare category.
