Supporting early implementation of exception reporting reforms

As part of the ongoing reforms to exception reporting for doctors under the 2016 terms and conditions of service, NHS England, NHS Employers, and the BMA are working together to identify early adopter organisations. These organisations will implement the reforms by 31 December 2025. The insights gained from this early implementation will be instrumental in helping to shape future guidance and resources, ensuring a smooth roll out across the NHS.

To support early adopters, we will host regular meetings and workshops and provide direct access to our team for any questions or advice.
