Mary Costello

Mary Costello is the Principal Insight Manager at the General Medical Council. Mary leads on the planning, development, and analytical aspects of The state of medical education and practice, a series of reports focusing on doctors’ workplace experiences. She has over 20 years of experience working within social research and policy roles focusing on, professional regulation, workforce, and education and training. She has held senior research and policy roles at a range of organisations including, the UK Commission for Employment and Skills, the Solicitors Regulation Authority, and the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education.
