The Total Reward Statements (TRS) mid-year refresh goes live on Wednesday 17 December 2025.
It’s time to plan your communications. TRS provides personalised information about the value of the employment package and is an excellent way to showcase the full range of benefits your staff receive. To maximise engagement, we recommend preparing your communications before the refresh goes live, so staff know where to access their updated statements as soon as they’re available.
Each year, the NHS Business Services Authority (NHS BSA) carries out a mid-year refresh of Total Reward Statements.
This process helps improve the quality and accuracy of the information by re‑running pension calculations and using updated data submitted by employers.
It ensures that any pension records or local benefits information not ready for the August release are updated and corrected. The refreshed TRS statements are then issued in December and reflect all changes or amendments made since the previous cycle.
