Derek Marshall

Derek has had a long career in workforce planning and information with NHS England, Health Education England and local NHS organisations.

This has included working on a number of national, regional and local workforce projects and initiatives. During his time leading the workforce planning and information team across the North of England for Health Education England (and then NHS England) Derek worked with colleagues nationally on the development of the workforce intelligence portal, the impact of the operating plans and Long Term Workforce Plan, as well as associated data collections and analysis across a range of programmes.
