Hannah Chandisingh

Hannah leads the implementation of the national Perinatal and Anti-Discrimination Programme at the NHS Health and Race Observatory, building on extensive experience of leading organisational change and challenging structural inequality across the NHS. She was previously head of equality, diversity and inclusion at Pennine Care and Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust.

As a second-generation Mauritian immigrant with lived experience of teenage homelessness and gender-based violence, Hannah brings both professional expertise and personal insight to conversations about opportunity, inclusion and social mobility. Having navigated significant barriers to education and employment herself, she is passionate about ensuring that people's potential is not constrained by their circumstances or identity.
