Hazel Wyton

Hazel is the director of engagement. She joined NHS Employers in February 2022 after working at board level in the NHS in her previous three roles, leading the HR and organisational development (OD) functions in large NHS acute providers and many years working in private healthcare and not for profit healthcare organisations at very senior level.

Before joining NHS Employers, Hazel has been HR director with 20-years’ experience operating at board and senior management level positions within the healthcare industry and with over 35 years’ experience of working within a professional HR function.

Prior to taking up the role as director of programme development, Hazel was the chief people officer at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust, with responsibility for the HR, education and OD function.
