Owen Chinembiri

Owen is the assistant director for workforce at the NHS Race and Health Observatory. 

He has over 22 years’ experience in healthcare across three countries. Owen has also worked in various management and leadership roles for clinical, equality, diversity and inclusion, transformation, performance and informatics teams. 

Owen is an alumnus of the NHS Graduate Scheme (health informatics specialism). 

Before working in the UK, he worked as an occupational therapist in his native Zimbabwe and in Botswana.

Owen is passionate about using data and technology to improve patient care and staff experiences. Away from work, Owen is a keen runner.
