Effective governance is the backbone of safe, high-quality advanced and consultant-level practice. We hosted a webinar on behalf of NHS England to explore the role of organisations in developing and maintaining robust governance structures, that align with the national minimum standards.

Attendees gained clarity on the role of organisations, professional bodies, regulators, and legislation on the safe development and deployment of the advancing practice workforce, including supervision and scope of practice.

The webinar also included good practice examples from NHS organisations on how they are implementing advanced practice effectively.
