Team Engagement & Development (TED)
TED is a powerful team diagnostic and toolkit with resources that are designed to enable both OD Practicioners and team leaders to have structured and meaningful conversations with their team.
The tool enables team leaders to explore what it feels like to work in their team and helps identify improvements that would make the biggest difference to team performance and engagement.
TED is designed to empower; providing team members with a voice whilst simultaneously building the capability of team leaders to have the conversations that matter the most to their team.
Developed internally by Lancashire Teaching Hospitals in 2016, it was initially designed in response to the NHS Staff Survey results and increasing requests of the Organisational Development Team to support individual team development interventions.
By enabling and building the capability of team leaders to take ownership of their own team development, it has allowed OD to focus on more holistic, strategic-level improvements to deliver whole organisation performance enhancements.

Enact Solutions
Enact are specialists in workplace behaviours, using drama-based learning with professional actors and subject matter experts to deliver powerful and transformative learning experiences.
Through experiential learning we enable safe skills practice to embed and sustain learning.
Neuroscience explains why our approach is so effective. Professional actors simulate high-stakes, emotionally authentic scenarios that mirror real workplace challenges.
These experiences activate multiple memory systems and emotional centres in the brain, for deeper learning and stronger retention. As Dan Heath puts it: “people see something, that makes them feel something that gives them the fuel to change".

Talking Health Leadership
Talking Health Leadership (THL) is a CPD‑recognised development programme created specifically for mid‑level NHS managers (Bands 6–8b) across clinical and non‑clinical roles. Now in its sixth year, the programme has supported leaders from over 40 NHS organisations, providing a trusted space to explore what effective leadership means in today’s NHS.
The THL programme provides virtual sessions with an in‑person conference, led by experienced NHS leaders who share honest and practical insights. Alongside this, speakers from outside the NHS bring their own leadership perspectives, while remaining closely connected to NHS reality. The programme is accessible and inclusive, with an emphasis on the leadership skills required in todays NHS: such as kindness, psychological safety, wellbeing and resilience.
THL works well as a stand‑alone leadership offer for NHS organisations, while also complementing existing in‑house programmes. Designed for busy professionals, it is highly interactive and focused on peer learning, reflection and connection— supporting the next generation of NHS leaders to lead well, now and into the future.
