Celebrating the SAS workforce

Today, we celebrate the dedication, expertise, impact and achievements of SAS doctors and dentists across the NHS. Throughout SAS Week, we've highlighted the many ways specialty and specialist doctors contribute to patient care, leadership, education and service improvement. As we conclude the week, we recognise and thank SAS doctors for their invaluable contribution to the NHS and the difference they make to patients, colleagues and organisations every day.

Watch our video, filmed at University Hospitals Derby and Burton NHS Trust (UHDB). We spoke with SAS doctors to hear about what’s important to them, how the trust supports them and their careers as well as what their aspirations are for the future of SAS.
