COVID-19: advice for attending live events
How we will keep you safe moving forward
From 19 July, the government formally eased restrictions in England. In response the NHS Confederation, alongside other organisations, launched #NotTooMuchToMask, a campaign which calls on the public to pledge to keep themselves and others safe by following five steps.
With this in mind, the Events Services Team will be encouraging staff and delegates to follow the call to action by wearing masks or a face covering whenever possible, by being considerate of others’ personal space and making use of hand sanitizer stations or washing hands frequently.
Venues may request delegates to take extra precautions and we ask that you follow and respect the rules of each venue, this may include ‘checking in’ using the track and trace app. We will share any additional guidance on the event webpage and in the email you will receive approx. 2 weeks before the event date. As a rule, we will not be asking for a ‘vaccine passport’ when attending an event, however we do actively encourage clients to get both doses of the coronavirus vaccine.
We will continue to provide the high level of customer service as we move forward onto the next stage and will be happy to answer any questions you have about the event you are attending.
We look forward to welcoming you back to live events.
