About this COVID-19 events guidance

As of March 2022, the government formally removed all restrictions in England.

The Events Services Team still encourages staff and delegates to be considerate of others’ personal space and ask that you make use of hand sanitizer stations and wash your hands frequently. If you have any questions about the event you are attending email us.

Frequently asked questions 

  • As the government formally removed all restrictions around facemask wearing, it is your personal choice if you want to wear a mask. We just ask you to be considerate of your peers.

  • We will be asking delegates to be respectful of others by keeping your distance where possible and being aware of personal space.

  • We will be checking the venue's risk assessment for each event with a specific focus on how they are COVID-secure. With this in mind, we will be promoting enhanced cleaning regimes and good ventilation in the venue. 

  • Please do not attend a live event if you have COVID-19 symptoms or are feeling unwell.
