BMA's resident doctor members to be balloted
The BMA has announced that resident doctors in England will be balloted for strike action over pay and lack of jobs.
The British Medical Association Resident Doctors Committee (BMA RDC) has announced that it will ballot its resident doctor members for strike action over pay and lack of jobs.
The ballot will open on 8 December 2026 and close on 2 February 2026.
The BMA's current mandate for strike will expire in January 2026.
