This poster can be downloaded by employers to help explain to staff how the member contributions to the NHS Pension Scheme are changing from 1 October 2022.

Please note that the salary thresholds used in this table are based on pay from 2021-22. The thresholds will be uplifted in line with the 2022-23 Agenda for Change pay award before 1 October 2022. Our information will be updated once the new thresholds have been confirmed by the Department of Health and Social Care. 

The poster sets out:

  • current rates
  • rates from 1 October 2022 (pay thresholds will be uplifted in line with 2022-23 AfC pay award)
  • rates from 2023 (exact implementation date to be confirmed).
