Pay progression - transitional example

This diagram has been developed to show the pay progression journey for both new and existing staff during the transitional arrangements until March 2021. It is important to read this in conjunction with the pay journey tool which details how the basic pay of individual staff (new and existing) in England will change during the transitional period to the new pay system.
