HCPC launches data hub
The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) has developed a data hub which provides insight into the 15 health and care professions that it regulates. The resource aims to identify trends to better understand the workforce across the UK, helping to support delivery of care, at both a local and national level.
The hub is an interactive tool which employers, professional bodies, unions, policy makers and the public can use to access key data via different dashboards. The dashboards hold data on the total number of HCPC registrants over time and this can be broken down by profession, characteristics (such as age or gender), location and diversity.
The HCPC has also developed a guide to support people to use the data hub and provided some broader context to support any analysis/interpretation of the data.
