NHS Health Careers toolkit
NHS Health Careers has published a new toolkit which aims to support employers with inspiring the next generation and to offer the information they need to make educated career decisions.
The guidance contains top tips for planning and running careers events and activities as well as some examples of good practice to ensure that the events meet their objectives.
It aims to help organisations to promote local engagement activities, which are an important element of a trust’s attraction and recruitment strategy, helping to tackle supply challenges by ensuring careers are visible and accessible to local communities.
There is also a range of physical and digital resources which include:
- an online registration form – allows event visitors to sign up to receive NHS careers advice by email
- postcards – 15 eye-catching designs that challenge misconceptions about NHS careers
- materials that can be adapted and printed locally
- website which provides detailed information on over 350 different NHS careers.
