Support refugee employment through upcoming regional job fairs

NHS Employers is partnering with Tent UK to support a series of refugee job fairs taking place in early 2026.

22 January 2026

NHS Employers is partnering with Tent UK, a global non-profit supporting businesses to integrate refugees into the workforce, to support a series of refugee job fairs taking place in early 2026.

These events will connect NHS organisations with refugee jobseekers who are ready to enter the labour market and seeking entry‑level roles.

Participating in a fair offers a valuable opportunity to diversify your workforce, fill vacancies, and support meaningful employment within your local community.

Job fair locations and candidate groups

  • Liverpool (25 March) - Up to 200 jobseekers with conversational English.
  • Crawley (mid April) - Approximately 200 resettled Afghans who have recently completed a six‑week employability programme.
  • Leeds (late April) - A mixed cohort from transition accommodation and settled communities.

What we ask of participating organisations

Organisations wishing to participate are asked to:

  • Attend with live entry‑level vacancies.
  • Send at least two representatives in person.
  • Offer screening interviews on the day, where appropriate.
