DBS webinar: disclosure and eligibility
Register for the first in a series of webinars which will outline the requirements for disclosure and eligibility in criminal record checks.
On 26 June we are hosting the first in a series of webinars, in partnership with the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS).
The webinar is aimed at individuals in recruitment and HR roles (and only accessible to those who are based within an NHS organisation). This session will provide an opportunity to learn more about the different levels of DBS checks and how to determine eligibility for different roles.
Topics to be covered:
- benefits of the DBS and your organisation working together
- different levels of DBS checks available
- eligibility, and when an employee or volunteer is eligible for a particular level of check
- what ‘regulated activity’ is
- other safer recruitment practices that can be put in place and how DBS checks form a part of these.
Presentations will be followed by a Q&A session.
