Join us in celebrating the 75th anniversary of the NHS on 5 July - see below just some of the ways you can get involved.

Twitter storm: NHS75 – Celebrating women

Join the Health and Care Women Leaders Network on 5 July for a Twitter storm celebrating women's contribution to 75 years of service by the NHS. Together we will celebrate the remarkable achievements and successes of women in the NHS who have significantly influenced you. Share your support and admiration for the NHS women who have impacted your life by posting a Tweet about them. Remember to include #NHS75Women in your tweet to spotlight your message and inspire others.

NHS Ambassadors programme

NHS England and Inspiring the Future have teamed up to inspire children and young people to consider a future career in the NHS. The ‘NHS Ambassadors’ programme connects NHS staff with local schools to give talks about the wide range of careers across the health service – both clinical and non-clinical. The programme is open to staff from all roles and all levels of the NHS, with a minimum commitment of just one hour a year.

NHS photography competition

NHS England, in partnership with Fujifilm, held a national photography competition to mark 75 years of the NHS. The competition was an opportunity for NHS staff and volunteers to share, through photos, their unique stories of what the NHS means to them. The winning photos go on display at Westminster Abbey on 5 July.
