Changes to #SASWeek23 following indicative ballot for strike

The British Medical Association (BMA) has announced that specialty and specialist (SAS) doctors in England have voted to hold an indicative ballot for strike action. The ballot will open on the 25 September 2023 and close on 16 October.  

As SAS Week is a partnership event with the BMA, due to the constraints of the ballot period, SAS Week will now focus more on local employer experiences and activities.  

Our joint webinar with the BMA for specialists will not go ahead as planned but we will continue to highlight our guidance and useful resources.
