NHS England publishes national recruitment policy framework

NHS England (NHSE) has created a national recruitment framework and supporting policy documents that provide both good practice guidance for employers and information for prospective candidates.
The recruitment policy framework is designed to be localised to reflect an individual organisation’s processes, while encouraging a standard approach across the NHS in England.
The framework supports the NHS People Promise by encouraging flexible working within all elements of recruitment. It aims to help employers:
- understand their role and responsibilities
- ensure the recruitment process they manage is fair and effective, and
- build on current recruitment practices.
