Stage 4: Refresher training

What is refresher training?
Refresher training is designed for participants who have completed both the job matching and JAJE courses and have gained relevant experience by carrying out job evaluation work within the service. The training programme is advanced and target specific. Refresher courses should be repeated every three to five years for maximum benefit.
Virtual refresher training courses
One-day virtual job matching refresher course
This course is designed for those who have already undertaken the two-day job matching course some time ago to maintain and refresh their skills. This course should be repeated every three to five years for maximum benefit. Upon full attendance and successful completion, participants will receive a signed certificate.

This course is designed for those who have already undertaken the two-day job analysis job evaluation course some time ago to maintain and refresh their skills. This course should be repeated every three to five years for maximum benefit. Upon full attendance and successful completion, participants will receive a signed certificate.

How do I commission a refresher course?
NHS Employers are in the process of developing the refresher training offer. Physical training (both commissioned and centrally run) is currently suspended due to the risks associated with COVID-19.
