BMA announces further industrial action

The British Medical Association (BMA) has announced that its consultants will hold more strikes in August.

The BMA's consultants committee announced this morning (17 July) further provisional strike dates of 24 and 25 August.

The strike will once again be based on Christmas Day levels of cover, meaning emergency care will still be provided.
