Speak Up Week 2025

This week (13-17 October 2025), the National Guardian’s Office launches its Freedom To Speak Up Week campaign across healthcare organisations.
Following on from last year's theme 'listen up', this year the national campaign will focus on follow up in action. Highlighting how managers can turn listening into meaningful and lasting change by acting on what they have heard.
The NHS People Promise calls for all NHS staff to have a voice that counts, where everyone feels safe to speak up and is listened to. Ensuring concerns are responded to and followed up will help drive continuous improvement and build a psychologically safe culture where staff have confidence that their voice will be heard and acted upon.
